Welcome to Edwin Djuanda Photo Gallery. I am a dermatologist & cosmetic skin-surgeon, practicing in Jakarta, Indonesia . Before I graduated from my medical school, photography is my hobby (since 1969) and that time I also earned money from this hobby. Started as a pure photo salonist (1973), then I started selling postcards with original photos printed on Kodak photo papers. Then together with Dicky Wp, we founded Indonesian stock photo agency, named DIPA PHOTO AGENCY. I was involved also in painting and photo gallery : GALERI-8 (1982-1985). After 1985, both the agency and gallery closed, and I was very busy with my carier as a dermatologist and focused on cosmetic skin surgery. I was one of the first doctor doing "the safest" tumescent liposuction in Indonesia. With some doctors colleagues, we also founded the antiaging group PASTI (Perkumpulan Awet Sehat Indonesia). Several years ago, after the rise of the digital era SLR, my photographic desire rose again. Nikon coolpix is my first digital camera (2002), and then I came back to Canon DSLR. My first digital SLR is Canon digital rebel (300D), I am quite happy because I still could using my old canon lens. I am using Canon brand SLR since 1969 (!). Now I am using 5dmark2 with several array of L lenses . I love to take nature, outdoor pictorial scenes. For me the mountains, lakes, sky, have their own emotions depends also from the sunlight. With my hobby and a true believer in anti-aging medicine, I feel younger and younger everyday. My spirit and my stamina still the same as I was 30. I hope this could last as long as my life.
